The Sanctuary

We invite you to join us for worship in our beautiful and historic sanctuary at 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. each Sunday morning.

Our 8:30 a.m. worship has a casual atmosphere with traditional hymns accompanied by piano.

The 11:00 a.m. worship is larger, but very warm and inviting, with music by the Chancel Choir accompanied by organ.  There is a children’s teaching time mid-way through worship for children ages 3 through 2nd grade, almost every week.  Children meet down at the front of the sanctuary at the altar with Maria Askea for a few learning moments.  After this teaching time, they are invited to join the others upstairs in the children’s area for continued age appropriate worship and teaching during the morning sermon.

Both worship experiences reflect United Methodist traditions and values, while seeking to be prayer-filled and Spirit-led.

The Fellowship

Join us at 9:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall to participate in a modern expression of worship that is inspired by the ancient practices of the early church as described in Acts 2.

We begin with songs of praise some modern arrangements of familiar old hymns and some have a more contemporary approach.  Led by the praise team, these different styles of music always inspiring simple order of worship, we experience scripture, prayer and a teaching time based on the scripture.  At the end of each service, there is an invitation to respond to the Word by receiving Holy Communion.  Each week provides the opportunity to kneel in prayer at the altar and to renew your baptism by touching the waters of the baptismal bowl.
